Metaphor poem

My house key,
the I.D. card of a secured city.

My grandma's soup,
the charcoal sent in the snowing winter.

My mom's hand-made cardigan,
the body armour of a determined war fighter.

My sister's story,
the lullaby before a peaceful dream.

My poems,
the dessert after the family reunion meal.
